4TH PLACE FOR CYPRUS IN THE 2019 WORLD SAILING CHAMPIONSHIP

Representing Cyprus during the D-Marin 2019 ORC World Championship and after a week of competitive
sailing, the IronFX Racing Team won the 4th place in the Corinthian Class, and the 10th place overall
(including the professional crews). This is a great achievement for the team and has firmly put Cyprus on
the world sailing map against sailing giants from Italy, Greece, Spain, Germany and other countries with
substantial sailing traditions. The IronFX Racing Team plans to continue its successful performance in
international competitive sailing.

The sailing competition was divided into two offshore and six inshore navigation races, which began on
June 2nd in the Old Town of Šibenik, Croatia. The participation was 119 yachts with more than 1,500 sailors
from 17 countries. The closing awards ceremony was held on June 8th in the D-Marin Marina Mandalina.
The IronFX Racing Yacht crew was pitched against various professional teams from around the world and
managed to deliver outstanding results, promoting Cyprus and yacht racing globally.
The IronFX yacht is a Farr 45 Class yacht designed by Bruce Farr and has a crew of 14. The team was
captained by Nikolas Epiphaniou, and crewed by Dimitris Alevizakis (Tactician), Markos Kashiouris,
Angelos Papageorgiou, Konstantinos Katopis, Ioanna Daffa, Eva Athanasiadou, Loukia Kanarini, Daphne
Frangoudis, Charalambos Aravatzis, Stelios Mabrouk, Andreas Milidonis, Michel Fialas and Haris
Xenofontos.

The participation of the IronFX Racing Yacht coincides with the long-term partnership between the IronFX
Group and the Offshore Racing Congress (ORC). True to its core values and with the intention of
continuously expanding its longstanding CSR program, the global multi-asset broker was an official
sponsor of the 2019 D-Marin ORC World Championship.
